There are so many interesting places to visit here in Pulau Langkawi. One of the Langkawi attractions that I would highly recommend you visit is the Langkawi Crocodile Farm. This crocodile farm covers an area of 8 hectares and is home to more than 1,000 crocodiles of various species.

Among the attractions found here at the Langkawi Crocodile Farm are:-

• The Feeding Pond
  • This is the place to see the crocodiles being fed. These hungry crocs can be really vicious when snapping up the food with their huge sharp teeth!

• The Breeding Pond
  • This is where the Crocodiles mate and nest.

• The Show Pond
  • This is where the action is! Watch the "Man VS Crocodile" wrestling show here. See the face off between the highly intelligent human and one of nature's most vicious "built to kill" predator.

    

• The Bridge-Over Pond
  • Catch a closer glimpse of these gigantic lean mean crocodiles.

• The Species Pond
  • This is where you can see crocodile and alligator species from all over the world. Any differences between crocodiles and alligators? Of course! One of the most obvious differences that can be observed is in the Snout. Crocodiles have very long, narrow, V-shaped snout, while alligators have a wide, U-shaped snout.

There is also an exhibition centre here at the farm for you to learn more about these lean, mean, yet amazingly awesome creatures.

The Crocodile farm is situated at Jalan Datai, Mukim Air Hangat and is Opened Daily from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., while the Show Time is at 11:15 a.m. and 2:45 p.m. daily.

The Entrance Fee to the Crocodile farm is as follows:

Locals:

Adults = RM 10.00

Child = RM 8.00

Foreigners:

Adults = RM 15.00

Child = RM 10.00

The Crocodile Farm is definitely one of the Langkawi Island attractions you wouldn't want to miss when you're here in Pulau Langkawi!
